Detailed review of my order

I placed an order for the Waldtiere Poster, some Gefühlskarten, and a Malbuch. The ordering process on the website was straightforward and easy to navigate. I received an order confirmation almost immediately. Shipping took about 5 business days to Frankfurt, which is reasonable for international shipping. Everything was well-packaged in a sturdy cardboard mailer, so nothing was bent or damaged. The poster colors are vibrant, and the card stock for the Gefühlskarten is thick and durable. The Malbuch has good quality paper too, suitable for various art supplies. I had a quick question about tracking, and customer service responded within a few hours. Happy with the overall purchase.

Reliable quality again

This was my third order from Frau Ottilie, and it was just as good as the previous ones. I got some Kindertattoos and the ABC Poster. Everything arrived well-packaged and the quality is consistently high. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect.

Good deal on books and stickers

I was looking for some good value and found a few Bücher and a sheet of Sticker on sale. The total price felt really fair, especially with the discount. Shipping was okay, it arrived in about a week. The books are good quality and the stickers are cute. Felt like I got my money's worth.

Good poster, fast shipping

I ordered the Weltraum Poster. It arrived quickly, took 4 days to reach Berlin. Quality was good. No issues.

Loving the mindfulness cards!

I absolutely love the Achtsamkeitskarten für Kinder I bought! They are even cuter in person and the quality is amazing. My daughter and I have been using them every day. I will definitely be shopping here again, and I've already told my sister about them!

What's the return process like if I need to send something back? Is it a hassle?

D Dan 2 months ago

I returned a wrong item once, it was pretty straightforward. Just follow the instructions on their site.

Are their posters good quality? Like, will they hold up or are they flimsy?

R Ryan Lindqvist 2 months ago

They're printed on really nice, thick paper. Definitely not flimsy. I've got a couple in my kid's room and they still look great.

The paper is FSC-certified, which means it's good quality and from sustainable sources. Holds up well, I'd say.

Are the iron-on patches actually washable? Don't want them falling off in the laundry.

J June 2 months ago

Mine have gone through the wash a bunch of times on my kid's backpack and they're still stuck solid. Just make sure you follow the application instructions carefully.

Yes, they're washing machine safe. I've had good luck with them, no peeling.

Hey, thinking of grabbing some posters and affirmation cards. How long does shipping usually take to New York City?

J Julia Okafor 1 month ago

Mine arrived in about a week and a half to the West Coast, so NYC might be similar. They ship from Germany, so it's not super fast.

D Daisy T. 1 month ago

Yeah, I'd say give it 7-14 days. It's coming from Europe, so factor that in. Mine got here within that timeframe last time.

Are the kids' tattoos actually safe? My little one has pretty sensitive skin.

L Lisa Patel 2 months ago

They're dermatologically tested, if I recall correctly. My kid's skin is fine with them, no issues.

Yes, they're tested. I've used them for party favors and no one had a reaction, even the sensitive ones.

Do they offer free shipping at all? Or is it always an extra charge?

S Sarah Bennett 2 months ago

Sometimes they have free shipping offers, usually if you spend over a certain amount. Keep an eye out for those.

T Tara J. 2 months ago

They do sometimes! I got free shipping on my last big order because it hit their minimum. It's not constant though.

Can I use both the newsletter signup discount and a sale code on the same order?

D Derek 1 month ago

Nah, usually it's just one code per order. Tried it before and it didn't work.

T Tara Bennett 1 month ago

Pretty sure most online stores only let you use one promo code. I think their policy is the same, so pick the better one.

How do Frau Ottilie's affirmation cards compare to the ones from Halfbird? Been eyeing both.

J Julia Beaumont 2 months ago

I have both! Frau Ottilie's feel a bit more whimsical and the designs are really unique. Halfbird are good too, but I prefer the paper quality and illustrations from Frau Ottilie.

C Cleo K. 2 months ago

Frau Ottilie's cards are really beautiful, the artwork is a standout. I'd say they have a more distinct aesthetic compared to Halfbird, which are also nice but a bit more standard.
